Randal's First Haircut!

The mullet is G-O-N-E!!!  Tonight we took Randal Jean to Ribbet Salon for her first haircut :)  I was so nervous about her sitting still, sitting by herself, not crying....but no need to worry because baby girl did great!  Ribbet salon is just for kids so the lady that cut her hair knew exactly how to deal with her and best of all there was a tv right in front of Randal to distract her from the stranger with the scissors, water bottle, and hair dryer.  When we first started to put Randal in the chair some cartoon was on and the stylist made a comment about what show it was and I mentioned that we weren't familiar with that show but Randal LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba.  "No problem," said the stylist as she went behind the front desk and grabbed a Gabba DVD.  Um, any place that has a Yo Gabba DVD on tap like that gets an A+ rating from this mama :)  The haircut didn't last but a minute or two as the child really doesn't have much hair aside from the mullet, but for the few minutes that it lasted Randal did great!

We will be taking Randal back for some more primping and Yo Gabba in a couple months :) Oh and on top of the fun atmosphere and Yo Gabba DVDs the salon carried all organic products for kids...again, love!
