Announcement!!!!

What are the odds that I would be announcing that Matt and I are expecting another GIRL!!!! We are so excited and honestly in a bit a disbelief that we are having another girl considering having one girl was surprise enough for us.  Despite the disbelief I feel extremely blessed and can't wait to meet our next little bit in late January :)

Here is baby girl #2 at 18w4d.

Enjoy!

All or Nothing

Randal Jean doesn't do very well with bows, but while we were packing her room for the move one of the last items to be packed up were her hair bows.  She brought them all to me and had me put as many as possible in her hair at once...then she danced!

Enjoy!

With all her bows :)

Goodbye bows...
And we put them back in...then she broke it down!!!

It must be genetic

One day while playing outside Randal Jean decided to walk around with her hat just barely sitting atop her head...it reminded me of her great-grandfather's signature style.  It must be in the genes...

She must get her inability to look at a camera from him too!

Tutus, Butterfly wings, and Boys

As I was going thru pics tonight I realized I forgot to post these for a few months ago...

Back in June we went to a 3rd bday party for a friend's daughter.  Her mom knows how to throw and party and went totally over the top with tutus and butterfly wings for all the little girls and a crown making station as an activity.  Randal loved her tutu and wings...and seeing her buddy Jackson!

Enjoy!
I love how it looks like we caught Jackson in the middle of something
Maybe we did....

Flower Girl

Randal Jean was asked to be a flower girl in the recent wedding of our friends, Charles and Kelli.  When Kelli asked if Randal would be their flower girl I told her I could only promise one thing and that was I would show up to the chapel with my daughter all cute and dressed up...after that I made no guarantees as to how my 17m old would do at being flower girl.  So here's the part where it seems like I should say....oh my she did fabulous!!!  Well, I can't say that :) but she did just as well as any 17m old should.  Walking down the aisle all by her lonesome was a bit too daunting so I carried her down the aisle on my hip while she held the flowers and I tossed them along the aisle.  So now I can say I was a flower girl at 26....life is complete, ha!

Just so you know I made good on my promise to show up with my cutie pie all dressed up here you go :)

Enjoy!

One Very Expensive Lunch Break

Matt and I had one very expensive lunch break today.  We closed on our new (to us) house!!!!!  We will be spending the next couple of weeks moving everything a whole 2 miles down the road :)  I am so excited to be moving in to a space that will allow our family to grow.  Although we fell in love with the house when we first saw it it has had no updates since it was built in the mid-nineties so through the next few years we will be updating the home room by room.  I'm sure it will be a long process but in the end we will have a home perfectly suited for us.

Here are some pictures of the house pre-move/updates

The exterior...few changes will probably be made here other than a new front door color and updated landscaping.  The front door is currently navy but the shutters are black (go figure!)

The entry way and rooms to the left and right.  To the left is the formal living room and to the right is the formal dining area.  We are going to add french doors to the formal living area and make it an office.
The living room
The kitchen...yes folks, those are red counter tops.  Be jealous!
Laundry Room
Master bed and bath
3 of the 4 upstairs bedrooms....I guess I forgot to grab a pic of the fourth bedroom.
Upstairs bathroom and this odd nook I have to figure out what to do with.  Anybody want that light fixture?  I think I might pay you to take it off our hands!  Oh, and the toilet cover has fish (seriously) all over it and Randal loves it.  I hate to break it to her but that might need replacing before we ever get around to remodeling that bathroom.

Bathing beauty

As long as I'm not washing her hair Randal loves being in the bath tub.  She also loves her faucet cover and will give it hugs and kisses through out bath time.

Enjoy!

Like Mother Like Daughter

Randal got a hold of my old camera last weekend and had fun pretending like she was snapping away.  It was so cute to watch her try and adjust all the setting on the camera (while it was off mind you), take the picture, and then look back at the camera to see her capture.

I will go over photography basics (ie taking the lens caps off) at a later date :)

Then we had fun playing "bye-boo" our version of peek-a-boo.  You say bye when you cover your eyes and then boo when you uncover them.

Beach Vacay (Post 6)

So on to the last of our beach vacation.  We waited until the very last night to try and get some family shots and unfortunately a storm was setting in and it was SUPER windy but we got what we could together.

Enjoy!
