We've been lucky in that Randal Jean hasn't had any regressive behaviors since Tilley arrived; however, she does try to copy her sometimes...

Not copying Tilley here but I still had to share....Matt fixed up the closet in the playroom and now Randal Jean thinks she has a new play place :)

1 Brave Girl & 4 Boys

The same weekend that the girls and I were in OKI Matt's dad, other brother (Kyle), and Jill (Kyle's GF) came up to go fishing on the big boat.

I title this post 1 Brave Girl and 4 Boys because Jill has to be brave to get on the boat with the 4 Bork boys.  You have to be brave to handle the way they handle the boat and not to mention their attitudes when they have to get up so early to go fishing...which although I haven't been on an early morning fishing trip with them I do know there is not a morning person out of the whole bunch.  Also, Jill is not a swimmer (not trying to call you out...promise I only have about 5 blog followers).  I can promise you I would have been TERRIFIED to go out with those guys if I couldn't swim.  I repeat...TERRIFIED!!!  All I have to say is better her than me!  From the pictures though I will say it looks like they all had a good time.

 

 Line got wrapped in the propeller so Matt had to go swim with the dolphins (seriously!) to go get it un-tangled.

Boy's Weekend

A few weekends ago I packed up and headed to my parent's place at OKI with the girls so I could catch up some work.  For the record I am WAY more productive when I don't have to do the dishes, laundry, run errands, etc...go figure?  Anyways, my productivity is not the subject of this post...

While I was away Matt and his brother, Kirk, got to hang out just to two of them which probably hasn't happened in a very very long time.  Part of their weekend included a trip on out little boat.

Future Fashionista?

This is what Randal Jean dressed up in while playing the other day.  Fashion world....watch out!...or not.

Our Little Dancer

Randal Jean started dance class on Tuesday and I couldn't be more proud.  I was absolutely giddy leading up to her class and might have even teared up a little at the thought of her being old enough to even be taking dance class.  As someone who danced for 12 years it just warmed my heart to get her dressed in her ballet gear and take her to a dance studio.  To top it all off she was on her best behavior at class.

The class she is taking is a creative dance class as her age group isn't really about to learn technique yet so this class will help her with coordination, following direction, and memorization.  Even though it isn't tap, jazz, or ballet she will still get to wear a costume this summer and perform in a recital.  Family reunion for the recital, anyone?

Reunited!

Randal Jean has been spending ALOT of weekends this summer at her grandparents so by the time she gets back to us on Sunday night she is missing her sissy so bad and just can't get enough of her :)

I know Tilley loves Randal Jean too but as you can tell from these pics Randal Jean's love can be a bit scary for Tilley at times, ha!

 And now all on her own :)

Starting a band

Playing with instruments is one of Randal Jean's favorite things and now she has recruited Tilley to start a band with her :)

 And I should also take the time to mention that Randal Jean has started to dress herself so inside out and backwards shirts are starting to be a trend around here...

Opposites Attract

I think Cobi & Tilley will get along just as well as Randal Jean and Cobi :)

My parents recently bought a second home in Oak Island.  Here are a couple pics from our first time on the beach with the girls when we went to see them.

Practice Makes Perfect

Tilley Grey has been practicing her sitting a lot lately and I am now comfortable to sit her down alone as long as there is a blanket or boppy around her.  Here she is practicing her new skill :)

Randal Jean is all about some princesses lately so we often here "I a Princess" come from her little mouth.  She particularly likes to dress up like Cinderella;  however, that is one movie she has never seen.
